Champaran College of Professional Education strictly adheres to the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) regarding the absolute prohibition of ragging in higher educational institutions.
We maintain a "Zero-Tolerance" policy towards ragging. The Anti-Ragging Cell functions as a vigilant supervisory committee to ensure that our campus, hostels, and surrounding premises remain entirely free from any form of physical or mental harassment. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming, secure, and supportive environment for all freshers and junior students.
Ragging encompasses a wide range of abusive behaviors. It includes, but is not limited to:
Rowdy or undisciplined activities that cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm, or raise fear or apprehension in a junior student.
Any act that prevents, disrupts, or disturbs the regular academic activity of any student or forces them to perform academic tasks for seniors.
Any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any other student by senior students.
Any act of physical abuse, sexual abuse, stripping, forced obscene acts, or verbal abuse including insults based on caste, religion, or gender.
